3D scanning and mesh processing.
3D scanning and printing
From a physical object to a finished printed part
We handle the full cycle: 3D scan, data cleanup, design, print preparation and delivery of the finished piece.
When it is useful
For prototypes, enclosures, brackets, fixtures, parts copied from an existing sample and small runs where you need to test shape, fit or an idea before larger production.
What it can include
Design or adjustment of a part to match the goal.
Print preparation and material selection.
Printing, inspection and handover of the finished part.
How we work
Assessment
We agree on size, tolerances, material, load and how the part will be used.
Preparation
We scan or model the part, clean the data and prepare the file for printing.
Print and review
We print, check the key parameters and iterate if that is part of the agreed scope.
3D scanning and printing — common questions
Do you hand over the 3D files?
By default you receive the finished part. We keep scans and models for quality and future fixes; file handover can be agreed separately.
Can you make a part from an existing sample?
Yes, when the shape and material allow it. We first decide whether scanning, modelling or both is the right approach.
Is this suitable for small batches?
Yes, especially for prototypes, fixtures and limited quantities. For larger runs we discuss whether 3D printing still makes sense economically.
Have a part to scan or print?
Send photos, dimensions and what the part needs to do. We will suggest an approach and next steps.
